IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING LUXX 645W AND 860W LED LIGHTS

As you may know, Hawthorne Gardening Company recently acquired the Luxx brand. Since that time, HGC has been undertaking a comprehensive assessment of all Luxx products as we onboard them into our portfolio. It has come to our attention that the Luxx 645W and 860W LED fixtures were mistakenly labeled as IP66 certified and have not been verified for that rating. In addition, Hawthorne has identified a quality issue with the Luxx 860 models that may impact performance longevity.

Based on our inquiries, HGC has received no reports of accidents or injuries related to this labeling issue. In addition, based on our internal engineering review, the fixtures can be safely used when operated in accordance with the warnings and instructions in the User Manual Directions for Use.

As a reminder, and consistent with the User Manual:

• The fixture should not be exposed to the following conditions: condensing humidity, heavy mist, fog or direct spray, extreme temperatures outside of its operating range, direct sunlight while in use and dust;
• The fixture is not intended to be used outdoors and should not be directly exposed to water; and
• Do not clean the LED fixture with detergents, abrasives or other aggressive substances; instead, clean the fixture with a cloth.
